The Indiana Pacers have slowly built up a nine-point halftime advantage despite some minor woes in the first half against the Cleveland Cavaliers, using a 12-4 run to close out the half. The Pacers have shot just 37% and are on the wrong side of the rebounding battle, losing 27-22, having allowed nine offensive rebounds to Cleveland. Fortunately, Indiana's defense has helped limit the effectiveness of those second chance opportunities, as the Cavaliers have been held to 34% and have turned it over 10 times.
C.J. Miles for Cleveland is the only player in the game with double figures, having scored 15, as Paul George and Roy Hibbert lead the Pacers with eight apiece. Danny Granger and Luis Scola have provided big lifts off the bench. Granger continues to round into shape with seven first half points as Scola pitches in with six points and a team high five rebounds. David West has six points and three assists.
