The Pacers still have the NBA's best record, it just doesn't feel like it right now. After going 1-2 in their last three games, a stretch that also feels like a three-game losing streak, the Pacers are surely looking forward to closing out their current road trip on a positive note and then getting back home.
The ice cold weather will never feel so good.
According to Candace Buckner, the Pacers spent a good chunk of practice time focusing on defense and in particular sharpening their pick n' roll defense which has been skewered in the last three games. A 3-2 road trip is the only remaining goal at this point, which remains a disappointment in this season of heightened expectations.
Paul George also raised the bar on his celebrity level last night with his appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' where he made a fashion statement with some crazy shoes and what appeared to be baseball pants. PG chatted through the nerves quite well and shared several laughs with Kimmel which you can enjoy below. He also said he'd consider entering the dunk contest with some help from Kimmel. Don't hold your breath.
Here's my latest Pacers discussion on The Phil Naessens Show which shows I haven't given up on the Pacers despite their latest bumps on the road.
