Halftime score: Pacers lead Kings 59-45

The Indiana Pacers closed strong to turn a second quarter deficit into a 14-point halftime lead against the Sacramento Kings. The Pacers began hot, but the Kings have fought, pulling ahead 33-32 with 8:15 left in the second quarter. Indiana responded with a 23-5 run to help put them up double figures. Indiana moved the game in their favor by turning up their defense, which opened transition opportunities. Indiana had 18 fast break points in the first half, as Lance Stephenson led the way with 13 points and three assists.

Indiana has gotten scoring from all nine of their rotation players, with George Hill scoring nine, David West eight, and Paul George and Danny Granger seven apiece. The Pacers shot 55.8% in the half, eventually dropping Sacramento under 50% with their defensive push. DeMarcus Cousins leads Sacramento with 12 points and three rebounds.
