The biggest, and possibly most equal matchup of the tournament so far features two popular names among Pacers fans. Tony Mitchell has drawn comparisons to Paul George, while Gorgui Dieng is expected to become a defensive force on the next level. Both of these prospects could provide length and much needed depth off the bench. They are boom-or-bust prospects, but could pay off big down the road.
Below are the video breakdowns of Mitchell and Dieng from SB Nation partner, Draft Express. The prospect breakdown videos last about 15 minutes long, so sit back and watch possibly a future member of the Indiana Pacers come draft night.
Both Mitchell and Dieng would fill needs on Indiana's roster right away. Mitchell would give the Pacers another freak of nature alongside Paul George. Tony also adds in another player who has a post presence down low. He might even be the replacement to David West if the chips do not fall the right way this Summer.
Dieng gives the Pacers a defensive-minded big who could be groomed under Roy Hibbert. Gorgui's ceiling is much higher then both Ian Mahinmi and Miles Plumlee's ever will be. Having a seven footer who has the versatility to play alongside Hibbert at times would scare teams to drive inside on Indiana.
After the video analysis of both prospects from Draft Express, who should advance on to the second round? Will it be Tony Mitchell or Gorgui Dieng getting your vote to advance on in the Indy Cornrows 23rd Pick Tournament.
