On the guard side of the Pacers 23rd Pick Tournament, we have two scorers who would contribute right away in the second unit. Both of these players have been projected to the Pacers in some mock drafts, mostly Allen Crabbe. Both of these players can create their own shot well, but have severe questions on the defensive end.
Lets get to a quick analysis of how both Hardaway Jr. and Crabbe fit the Pacers. Also, thanks to Jonathan Givony of Draft Express for letting me use his prospect breakdown videos. The breakdown videos are around 15 minutes long, so relax and watch some positives and negatives of Hardaway Jr. and Crabbe.
Indiana is in desperate need of a scorer off the bench for next season. Both of these players could fill in that hole nicely if selected at 23. Expect if one of these two are drafted to see Gerald Green shipped out somehow this off-season.
Green was expected to fill the role of "instant offense" off the bench. As we know, that failed, miserably, in year one. Adding in Crabbe or Hardaway Jr. would instantly take his place in the rotation.
After the video breakdowns courtesy of SB Nation partner, Draft Express, who do you want to move on to the second round? Will it be Allen Crabbe or Tim Hardaway Jr. getting your vote?
