With the 23rd pick, the Indiana Pacers select...Solomon Hill from Arizona.
The Pacers saw a number of prospects fly off the board late, but settled on Solomon Hill. Hill was a projected second rounder, making the pick a potential reach. Most mock drafts were blown up from the opening pick, so it only makes sense for the Pacers to continue the trend. Hill as a senior averaged 13.4 points and 5.3 rebounds for the Wildcats. The 6'7" wing Hill does have some nice versatility and could prove to be a nice piece for the Pacers moving forward. Unfortunately, with him being a player that could've been available for the Pacers to draft at #53, it does raise the question what the Pacers have in store for the draft and second round moving forward.
