We have reached the Indy Cornrows 23rd Pick Tournament Finals and oh, what a great matchup we have to finish it off. Dennis Schroeder, the German point guard faces off against the Cinderella of this tournament, Tony Snell. Who wins this and claims the crown?

This matchup is a great one to cap-off the last few weeks of tournament battles. Both Dennis Schroeder at point guard and Isaiah Canaan at small forward would fill much needed holes as backups on this roster. The second unit is looking for more scoring and either one of these can do just that. If the Jimmer Fredette trade does not happen, which has been confirmed to have legs, and Indiana is picking at 23, then I would be fine with either one of these players there. Who will win this intriguing battle and be crowned the champion of this tournament?

Schroeder or Snell would be immediate upgrades, as mentioned, to this roster next season. From what I have been told, Indiana is enamored with Schroeder and hopes he falls to them tomorrow night. If not, there Plan B is taking Isaiah Canaan of Murray State. Also, that is why the Jimmer talks have started with Sacramento, in fear Schroeder or one of the point guards they like does not make it to 23. Snell is an athletic versatile wing who makes a lot of sense here in Indiana. Tony's shooting ability would also be valued in their second unit next year, if he is selected at 23. His long frame has made some scouts call him 'Paul George-like'. Scouts compare Schroeder to the pass-first point guard for the Boston Celtics, Rajon Rondo.
