Halftime score: Heat lead Pacers 40-39 in Game 6

While the scoreboard doesn't appear a total loss, the fact the Indiana Pacers are trailing in Game 6 to the Miami Heat tells you how many opportunities the Pacers have wasted. Indiana has left double digit points on the board again, and a quick finish to the second quarter for the Heat give them the halftime edge in a game they really have no business being in. The Heat are shooting 37.2% after getting a bulk of their first quarter offense from three pointers. The Pacers have gotten away from dominating the glass after a big first quarter, allowing six second quarter offensive rebounds.

David West appears hampered by his upper respiratory infection, scoring one point on 0-7, missing countless easy shots. The Pacers have gotten a better show from their backcourt, with George Hill scoring seven. Paul George and Roy Hibbert each lead the Pacers with 13. It's once again the LeBron James show for Miami, who leads all scorers with 14. Norris Cole has nine.
