The Indiana Pacers surpassed last season's playoff run while moving into position to extend their post-season with a win over the New York Knicks on Tuesday night. The Pacers most certainly played their style of game, but they were still far from perfect.
While they continued to frustrate the Knicks by holding them to 82 points, the Pacers still have room to tighten things up for the full 48 minutes. The good thing is the Pacers effort and determination to win every possession was locked in for a second game in a row.
If they can tie that effort to better overall execution (and at least fewer sloppy turnovers) then this team will indeed be a tough out in the playoffs. Can you imagine getting a big offensive night out of David West and/or Paul George?
But now is not the time to consider what may lie ahead, instead finding a way to impress again and close out the Knicks on the road, is all that matters for the blue and gold. Is this getting fun, or what?
