While working their way toward a 2-0 advantage in their first-round series with the Atlanta Hawks, the Indiana Pacers delivered several highlight plays in Game 2 that had the home crowd rocking at Bankers Life Fieldhouse DUNKHOUSE!
Roy Hibbert delivers a leather meatball sub for Ivan Johnson to consume
Roy Hibbert took a page from a fellow, former Georgetown Hoya, as he looked like Patrick Ewing with the leaning, one-hand jam over Ivan Johnson. Makes you wish he would've done that on the other 873 (guestimate) chances to do the same throughout his career. Yeah, but this one made up for about 788 of those, give or take. Wow!
Gerald Green flies through Josh Smith
The side benefit of Gerald Green playing well is that he's a constant threat to explode to the rim and stunning everyone in the building in an instant. Kinda like this...
Don't blink on Paul George
Paul George had a reel full of highlights which included the alley oop finish and baseline dunk starting around the 1:30 mark.
Gerald Green post pattern dunk from David West
Probably my favorite play of the bunch just because it was coming right at me, but also because of the quick boost it gave the Pacers heading into the fourth quarter. Atlanta's Mike Scott had just coaxed a well-challenged baseline jumper to fall with 1.2 seconds left in the third quarter, which was a gut shot after a strong defensive possession by the Pacers. It also drew the Hawks back within 10 points. Then, HUT-HUT, DWest went Andrew Luck and found Green in stride for the touchdown flush before the buzzer.
Which highlight from the Dunkhouse was your favorite?
