Pacers Final Score: Pacers beat up Hawks 113-98

The Pacers put away the Hawks in Game 2 with a big fourth quarter.

The Indiana Pacers improve to 2-0 in their best-of-seven series with the Atlanta Hawks after putting together another impressive performance late to put away a challenging Hawks team. The Pacers led a majority of the game, but Atlanta's ability to kill the Pacers in transition kept them within striking distance, preventing the Pacers from putting that one decisive run until the second half of the fourth quarter.

The Pacers frustrated the Hawks throughout the game, drawing three technical fouls and limiting Josh Smith to foul trouble though he finished the night with 16 in just 20 minutes. Paul George led all scorers 27 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and four steals, getting 22 from George Hill. Gerald Green led a huge bench display with 15, as Indiana's bench scored 38 to overcome early injuries from Lance Stephenson and foul trouble from David West. Devin Harris and Jeff Teague led the Hawks with 17 & 16 respectively.
