The Indiana Pacers have gotten 24 points from their bench in a strange first half against the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks got off to a quick lead before Indiana took the lead, leading for most of the first half. Despite a lot of lapses by Atlanta, they've been able to hang around in the game due to their ability on the offensive glass and Indiana's struggles to get back in transition, leading to easy Atlanta points.
The Hawks have nearly half of their points in the paint because of it, led by Jeff Teague who had 16. For the Pacers, Paul George led the way with 16 on 6-10 shooting, who had three rebounds, two assists, and three steals. David West and Josh Smith were each limited in the first half with foul trouble and the Pacers lost Lance Stephenson in the first quarter due to a bruised hip, making his return to the game questionable. Roy Hibbert (11) and Devin Harris (10) are each in double figures.
