The Indiana Pacers look to remain in control of their first round series with the Atlanta Hawks with a win in Game 2 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
While the Pacers spent the past few days feeling pretty good about their effort and even logging some individual awards for their regular season effort, the Atlanta Hawks returned home to stew in their losing juices and hear about how they appear to be packing it in for the season.
I guess we'll see about that because the Hawks have talent and it won't take much pride to get motivated to come out with a strong effort in Game 2. Fortunately, the Pacers also have room to improve on their Game 1 effort and with three days off, should be rested and ready to go. That really applies for George Hill who continues tending to a tender groin but has to be a factor for the Pacers to win. Fortunately, the elongated first-round schedule gives the Pacers a break to keep their heavy-minute players fresh.
