Before beginning their Game 2 prep on Tuesday, the Indiana Pacers and NBA took time out in the morning honor Paul George with the NBA's Most Improved Award.
PG wanted to surprise the Hawthorne Community Center at his MIP press conference. So instead of giving Executive Director Diane Arnold the autographed basketball she was expecting, PG handed her the key to the new Kia Sorento he won along with the MIP trophy.

Well, played young fella. PG also hit the mark with a nice little dig at Jeff Pendergraph during his acceptance speech.
"I feel like I play for one of the best teams in the league and that contributes to it, playing along side like George and Roy and all the way down to Pendergraph, so I'm proud to be here."
PG flashed a sly smile as the crowd laughed. No doubt Pendy will have something to say about that line in the locker room.
