The Indiana Pacers are eager to get their playoff series started with the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday afternoon after stumbling their way through the final two weeks of the season.
None of those past sins matter now as it is all about effort and execution as the intensity ramps up in a playoff series. Against the Hawks, the Pacers have little margin for error. Either they'll come out strong with their stifling, league-leading defense ready to roll or they will be forced to rely on a balky offensive attack that wasn't working too in the final six games of the season.
Fortunately, the Pacers have critical playoff experience to lean on this year which should have them dialed in and ready to go in front of a raucous home crowd at the Fieldhouse.
The game will be televised on TNT but FOX Sports Indiana, the television home of the Pacers, will also air a special edition of the Pacers Live postgame show following each nationally-televised game in the series. The postgame show will give fans a complete wrap-up and reaction from a Pacers perspective. FOX Sports Indiana's coverage starts Sunday, following Game 1, at approximately 3:30 p.m. ET. Chris Denari hosts with reporter Brooke Olzendam and analysts Quinn Buckner and Austin Croshere.
