The Indiana Pacers return to action on Friday against a potential playoff opponent when they host the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks appear to be a lock for the eighth seed in the East but they are only two games behind Boston for seventh and there is plenty that can happen in the final month of the season.
The Pacers will start Tyler Hansbrough for the third straight game in place of power forward David West as the Pacers team leader continues to tend to a lower back sprain. With West out, the Pacers have enjoyed a strong team effort with big contributions off the bench. They'll need that same type of production to keep winning and send the potent guard tandem of Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis home with a loss.
The Bucks could present from front-court issues with West out due to all of the size they can throw at the Pacers. Samuel Dalembert has been starting of late next to Larry Sanders with Epke Udoh and "Baby Face" John Henson coming off the bench. The Bucks have also been starting former Pacers swingman Marquis Daniels and his beautifully unorthodox offensive game.
