  • 1981: James Edwards scored 29 but the Pacers fell to the Knicks, 110-107.
  • 1982: A strong 37-point first quarter and Johnny Davis's 25 points puts the Pacers in the win column over New Jersey 104-101.
  • 1984: Indiana shot nearly 58 percent, but the Celtics took the Pacers to overtime. Indiana wins 123-121.
  • 1985: Indiana dropped their fourth straight no thanks to Denver to a 123-119 loss.
  • 1988: Steve Stipanovich had a game-high 24 points in a 102-96 win over the Nets.
  • 1990: Detlef Schrempf turns in a double-double (29 pts., 14 rebs.) in a 112-98 win over the Heat. Miami scored just 19 in the first quarter while the Pacers scored 17, but still won.
  • 1992: The Pacers scored 12 in the overtime period to hang on to beat the Bucks 102-97.
  • 1996: Patrick Ewing put up 31 points as the Knicks slipped past the Pacers 102-99.
  • 1998: Reggie Miller and Chris Mullin each hit three 3-pointers as Miller scored 21 and Mullin put up 20. Indiana won 99-92.
  • 1999: Tim Hardaway's 28 points couldn't put the Heat above the Pacers 94-89.
  • 2001: Indiana traveled to the north of the border, and what they came back to the States with was a beatdown led by Vince Carter. He dropped 33 points while the Pacers scored just 13 in the final quarter in a 102-81 loss.
  • 2002: Charlotte won their fourth straight in a 94-88 defensive battle. Indiana shot 41 percent while the Hornets shot 40 percent from the floor.
  • 2004: Jermaine O' Neal scored a double-double, but Memphis shot 53 percent to beat the Pacers 99-95.
  • 2005: Indiana shot 44 percent on a night where Dale Davis scored a double-double against New Jersey. The Nets win 94-85.
  • 2007: Indiana dropped their 12th of their last 13 to the Rockets. Yao Ming scored 32 points with 14 rebounds in a 86-76 Houston win.
  • 2009: Dirk Nowitzki hit the game-winner with 1.1 seconds remaining over two Pacers to send the Indy faithful home disappointed...once again.
  • 2012: Indiana's bench outscored L.A.'s 50-23 to lead the Pacers to a badly needed 102-89 win over the Clippers.
