The Pacers have lost two in a row but it seems like ten, maybe because they've lost three of their last four and four of their last six games. A disturbing trend for the blue and gold and one they will try to disrupt in the Q tonight. The Pacers may be without David West but the Cavs will be worse off missing Kyrie Irving at point guard. Irving is back on the shelf, I think with a shoulder this time, in what has to be the most frustrating season for the Cavs. The kid has been incredible on the court but has a hard to making tip times thanks to a variety of injuries.
Speaking of frustrating injuries, Mike Wells reports that Danny Granger won't play in the four games this week but he has been cleared to resume practice which is a step in the right direction. No doubt the team will take their time with Granger this time around.
Also, Wells adds that Frank Vogel will give Gerald Green some minutes in the rotation with the hope he can find a balance to give the Pacers a boost off the bench without trying to do too much of the things he can't do consistently (like shooting threes, constantly).
UPDATE: David West is officially out which will put Tyler Hansbrough in the starting lineup.
