NBA All-Star Saturday: Gerald Green among dunk favorites, Paul George a three-point long shot

New, comment

Gerald Green and Paul George should draw plenty of attention when they compete on NBA All-Star weekend.

USA TODAY Sports

The Indiana Pacers will be well represented on NBA All-Star Saturday night with Paul George competing in the three-point contest and Gerald Green joining a competitive field in the slam dunk contest.

Green has plenty of slam dunk game and according to Bovada is among the favorites to take home the dunk title. James White and his arsenal of free throw line dunk options is the current favorite to take home the title but Green should make it quite a show assuming the pair can execute as expected. Here are the latest odds according to Bovada:

James White (NYK) 5/4
Gerald Green (IND) 5/2
Terrence Ross (TOR) 7/2
Jeremy Evans (UTH) 5/1
Eric Bledsoe (LAC) 15/2
Kenneth Faried (DEN) 15/2

In the three-point contest, Paul George is a long shot to win the, uh long shot contest, according to Bovada. No surprise here since PG isn't your run of the mill 3-ball specialist. Here are the odds:

Stephen Curry (GSW) 2/1
Steve Novak (NYK) 5/2
Kyrie Irving (CLE) 3/1
Matt Bonner (SAS) 9/2
Ryan Anderson (ORL) 9/2
Paul George (IND) 15/2

Here is the full schedule of events for All-Star weekend.
