After an early lead, a pair of runs by the Atlanta Hawks put the Indiana Pacers in the hole in the second quarter, as Atlanta built a 12-point lead 43-31 with five minutes to go in the half, setting up yet another "here we go again" game against the Hawks. But David West helped lead the way on the defensive end to open up things offensively, where the Pacers went on a 19-5 run to put themselves back in the lead.
Lance Stephenson lead the balanced Pacers attack with nine points and five rebounds. The ball movement with the starters has been a big lift, with them assisting on 14 on Indiana's 18 buckets. Roy Hibbert and Ian Mahinmi combined for 17 points to make plays for the Indiana front line. George Hill had eight points, with Paul George pitching in seven.
