Super Bowl game thread and links: Who ya got and what are you eating?

The made-for-TV national holiday that is the Super Bowl will kick off later this evening with the San Francisco 49ers taking on the Baltimore Ravens. So let's hit the important stuff, like food!

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Indiana Pacers have another day off before hosting the Chicago Bulls for their make up game on Monday night. Good thing since today is Super Bowl Sunday!

I thought it would be nice to use this post to share your thoughts on the game, commercials, recipes and of course, the Pacers upcoming games.

So who are your picking today in the Har-Bowl? I'm going with Captain Comeback and his 49ers to make enough plays to beat the Ravens 23-17. I have to admit I'm biased here since the Niners have been my NFC teams since I can remember.

For food options I am sticking with the fundamentals with a big ol' pot of chili on for a long simmer. Sun King Osiris and Triton 4 Barrel Brown will remain in the mix at some point today, as well.

Check out the links today with a few stories on the Bulls and their health issues as they make their way to Indy for the game on Monday night. The Bulls remain a game up on the Pacers after pounding Atlanta last night. Nice effort, Hawks. Atlanta could only muster 76 points against the Bulls playing without Carlos Boozer, Kirk Hinrich and Joakim Noah. Ugh.

Noah (foot) and Boozer (hamstring) remain day-to-day for the Pacers while Hinrich isn't expected to play at the Fieldhouse. Here are the links:
