Pacers lead Pistons 60-36 at halftime

The Indiana Pacers followed up their blowout win over New York with another impressive first half performance against the Detroit Pistons, leading by as many as 28 late, taking a 60-36 lead at the break. The Pacers won the fast break points 14-1, shot 62.5% from the floor and 4-5 from three point range. But the Pacers weren't just offense in the first half. They held Detroit under 37%.

The Pacers have done a great job tonight pushing the tempo, quickly getting out into transition and looking for easy buckets. That they're up 24 at half is surprising, but not as surprising as the style of play they've come up with in the last six quarters. Indiana was led by Orlando Johnson, who had a career high 14 points. Lance Stephenson was everywhere in the first half, making plays, scoring six and grabbing two steals. David West had 10.
