The Indiana Pacers wrap up the season series with the Detroit Pistons this weekend with a home-and-home series starting on Friday night at the Fieldhouse. The Pacers won the first two meetings between the teams including a 98-79 win in Detroit's last visit to the Fieldhouse on the day Tayshaun Prince was traded away and Jose Calderon was acquired.
Calderon will be in the backcourt for the Pistons on Friday, but point guard Brandon Knight will miss the game after injuring his ankle and knee in Detroit's win over Charlotte on Wednesday. Winning two consecutive games against the same team is never easy, but the Pacers need to make that a goal since there is little margin for error in the Eastern Conference standings.
The Pacers will remain without Danny Granger, as the forward continues to practice with the team but is not ready to give it a go in game conditions. Maybe tomorrow?
