The Indiana Pacers have to come out of the All-Star break at full throttle when they host the New York Knicks on Wednesday night.

The Pacers remain in third place in the East, 1.5 games behind the Knicks with a group of teams in close pursuit. The Brooklyn Nets took advantage of a pair of big shots from Joe Johnson, a three in regulation to send it to overtime and a buzzer beater in OT for the W, to beat the Milwaukee Bucks and draw within a half game of the Pacers. Since the Nets are one team that has the tie breaker over the Pacers, they are essentially tied heading into tonight's action.

Speaking of action, there won't be any on Wednesday for Danny Granger. According to reports from practice on Tuesday, Granger continued to look good overall in the team's workout but isn't quite ready to return, let alone for a critical Knicks game.

The Pacers beat the Knicks in their first trip to BLF but that was without Carmelo Anthony. Melo complained of a "dead arm" on All-Star weekend but he looked just fine during the game on Sunday which will make him priorit one (two, three...) for the Pacers defense.
