The Indiana Pacers were back in the gym on Monday night practicing in preparation for their matchup with the New York Knicks on Wednesday night.
Forward Danny Granger stayed in Indy during the All-Star break and took part in the full team practice on Monday. While Granger has been practicing the past week, it seems like the team isn't yet comfortable putting any expectations on 33 or his return.
The Pacers held Granger out from a hopeful return last Wednesday against Charlotte with the ol' flu. Granger didn't appear to be too sick though since he went through pre-game work and left the locker room about an hour before the game. There certainly weren't any concerns about spreading that flu around, although Granger may be the last guy in the locker room with the illness.
Or...he's just not quite ready to return.
The Pacers kept Granger's return questionable after Monday's practice. As Scott Agness reports, Frank Vogel praised the play of Granger but didn't commit to 33 showing up for the Knicks.
Granger practiced today but Vogel was noncommittal on when he might return. "I don't want him coming back until he feels 100% ready."

A brief return to the court by Granger won't be the difference against the Knicks, but they could sure use him in a potential playoff matchup. I appears the flu declaration was a handy way to avoid questions about Granger's knee for another night.
But the questions remain and won't go anywhere until Granger is a go. Stay tuned for the day-to-day update after practice on Tuesday.
