Pacers Final Score: Nets top Pacers in OT 89-84

The Pacers choke away another one to lose a second straight at home.

USA TODAY Sports

Just as was the case against Toronto, the Indiana Pacers were seconds away from closing out a win against an opponent at home, but were unable to come up with the points on a night they shot just north of 34%, sealing another heartbreaking loss, this time to the Brooklyn Nets. The Pacers came back in the fourth quarter, but were hampered by Paul George having one of his worst games of the year and David West getting scratched in the eye in the first minute of the game limiting his effectiveness in the second half.

Jeff Pendergraph stepped up in West's absence with a huge 14 point, nine rebound effort, but it's hard to expect much when you are being led by Pendergraph. George Hill had a nice game, helping Indiana late, finishing with 22 points. Lance Stephenson had 14, and Roy Hibbert had a 12 & 10 double double, shooting just 5-18 from the floor. Brook Lopez led the Nets with 25. Reggie Evans had 22 rebounds.
