Pacers Links: Danny Granger, Pacers set to return to action against Rockets

The Houston Rockets make their annual visit to Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Friday night with a lethal inside-outside game that should make for another great matchup with the Pacers.

Yay, we're back...hopefully for good. Our appologies for the technical issues and thanks to the SB Nation product team for their around the clock efforts to get us back up and running. So...on to game day with the Houston Rockets in town.

For the second time THIS WEEK, the Indiana Pacers will be showcased to a national audience on ESPN. Let's just hope the outcome is better this time when the Rockets visit Bankers Life Fieldhouse. With Dwight Howard and James Harden running the Rockets, there are plenty of storylines to keep your attention in this matchup between contending teams from each conference.

But throw in the return of Danny Granger and we have a night full of intrigue waiting at the Fieldhouse. Frank Vogel expects to put Granger through his paces off the bench with at least 15 minutes of run. Oh, and the Pacers REALLY need to win this game after dumping their last two games. The Rockets have an inside-outside attack that will severely test the Pacers defense as the Blue and Gold tries to rep for the East while also trying to stay a game ahead of the Miami Heat.
