Pacers final score: Pacers fall late to Heat 97-94

The Pacers gave away a fourth quarter lead as they lose their second straight for the first time this season.

The Indiana Pacers stumbled in the second half, outscored by the Miami Heat 56-42, resulting in their second straight loss. The Pacers started slow with turnovers aiding to an early Heat advantage, but the Pacers were able to push the game in their favor going up double figures in the second quarter and taking an 11-point lead into the break. Indiana moved their lead to 15 halfway through the third quarter, but Miami drew within three early in the fourth quarter. The Pacers were able to make it an eight point game with under four minutes left, but the Heat took the lead on a pair of three pointers.

The Pacers had the ball with 25 seconds left, but a George Hill turnover gave Miami the ball as Ray Allen put the Heat up three. Paul George missed a three pointer to close the game, leaving Indiana three points short on the scoreboard. George led the Pacers with 25 points, eight rebounds, and six assists with David West scoring 21 on 8-15 shooting. Lance Stephenson had 13, 11 in the first half. Roy Hibbert was hampered by foul trouble, picking up his fifth foul early in the third quarter. Dwyane Wade led Miami with 32 as LeBron James scored 24.
