LeBron James questionable for game against Pacers

As tomorrow night's game between the Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat loom, the Heat may be without LeBron James after he twisted his ankle in last night's win against the Utah Jazz. James is currently listed as questionable for the game as he receives treatment on the ankle after sitting out of practice today. Erik Spoelstra told reporters they will have lots of treatment and lots of rest for James's ankle, and will see where he stands Wednesday before deciding on his status for the game.

There seems to be little concern within the Miami locker room, according to Shandel Richardson of the Sun Sentinel, with Chris Bosh saying he believes James will play no matter what. James wasn't quite as straightforward about it, suggesting that he would be able to go if this were a playoff game, but sees the teams' long term interest in mind when deciding whether or not tomorrow will be a game worth risking further injury with, not the next opponent.

The Pacers didn't have much reaction according to Michael Pointer, but with Indiana's own long term goals, James's availability can certainly play a factor in tomorrow night's game if Indiana can grab their second win over the Heat in as many weeks. But it will take more than an injury to James to beat Miami, especially if Paul George can't make progress on his current slump.
