Pacers Links: Happy Thanksgiving Edition!

Pacers Nation has plenty to be thankful for this November after the Blue and Gold beat the Bobcats on Wednesday to improve their record to 14-1.

Another night, another path to a W for the Indiana Pacers.

The journey to a win is why we watch, but for three quarters the Pacers and Bobcats were throwing bricks on the road like they were in a Mario Kart race, making this game a challenge to witness. Well into the game, both teams were shooting under 30%, yet it seemed even worse.

Fortunately, the Pacers can thrive under such conditions. Just keep pounding away at opponents on defense and eventually wear 'em down. But at some point, the Pacers needed some points with 39 points in the fourth quarter they found more than enough to secure win 14. Fueled by C.J. Watson from the outside and Lance Stephenson slashing to the hoop on the inside. Certainly the first time the Pacers have leaned on that duo to dynamically deliver a win.

My favorite part of the fine finish was the bench reaction building with every three-pointer made by Watson. By the time that sixth consecutive long ball splashed, even Frank Vogel couldn't hold back a smile.

Good times and plenty to be thankful for from this crew as the enjoy a day off before facing the Washington Wizards, winners of three in a row including last night in OT over the Bucks, on Friday night at BLF.

Oh, and don't miss the Black Friday ticket deals from the Pacers starting tonight at 10 pm.
