The Pacers and Timberwolves had a nice little rivalry brewing a couple of years ago when both team's stars, Kevin Love and Danny Granger, showed a strong distaste for one another. The pair tangled in 2012 during a fantastic road win by the Pacers at the time when Granger put 36 on the Wolves and didn't take any junk from a frustrated Love (here are the highlights from that beauty).
Of course, that was a few injury waves ago for both Granger and Love, so the two teams meeting at the Fieldhouse tonight don't resemble the same teams that tangled in 2012, but the Wolves are healthy and riding behind the big game Kevin Love has to offer once again. Should be a great test for the Pacers which will force them to be on point from the opening tip tonight.
I discuss the game along with the Pacers past week and a question about Danny Granger on The Phil Naessens Show this week. You can find the show here or listen below.
