The Indiana Pacers once again made a stand late, pulling away in the second half en route to their third victory in three tries on the young 2013-14 season. The Pacers led most of the way in tonight's game, threatening to pull away, but dealing with a pesky Cavaliers team that continued to draw close, partially due to the Pacers' propensity for turnovers; the blue and gold committing 21 tonight. The 21 turnovers led to 18 Cavaliers points, keeping Cleveland in the game until the Pacers were able to run away in the fourth quarter.

Lance Stephenson had 22 points to lead the Pacers to the win in the fourth quarter. Stephenson went 5-7 from three point range, pulling down five rebounds in the process. Paul George had his first double double of the year, posting 21 points and 13 rebounds with three three pointers of his own. Roy Hibbert had 11 as the third Pacer in double figures. Orlando Johnson led an active bench unit with seven points and six rebounds. The Pacers held Cleveland to 34.9% shooting and 3-15 from three point range. Dion Waiters led them with 17.
