The Pacers and Mavericks meet for the second time this preseason to go through their final practice game before things start counting for real next week.

The Mavs held off a strong finish from the Pacers in their first meeting at BLF, but this time the Pacers will have their full starting unit around to impact the game. Orlando Johnson helped lead the late rally in the last game which also helped boost his chances for cracking the regular season playing rotation. He may have that opportunity while Danny Granger is out with his calf injury.

As for the Mavs, point guard Jose Calderon is the only new face in the lineup as he joins Monta Ellis in the Dallas backcourt where they've never seen a shot they didn't like. Had to chuckle when I saw the headline from one of the links today in which Ellis explained his preseason shooting struggles on passing too much. Yep, that sounds about right. Monta is shooting just 40% from the floor and 30% from 3-land in the preseason with the Mavs.

No local TV (just a Dallas feed) for this one so enjoy the HD visuals provided by Mark Boyle on the radio call.
