The Pacers looked much more like the team we are expecting this season last night in Chicago. Despite the preseason loss, the body language from the tip was in regular season form even if the execution wasn't.
The game was chippy and tough and fun to watch. No doubt Derrick Rose is back and as good, if not better than before his knee injury. The Bulls are indeed a beast if they can stay healthy through the playoffs.
The Pacers are now in Cleveland where they will take on the Cavaliers on Saturday night. Frank Vogel kept the playing rotation pretty tight in Chicago for a preseason game, so I'd expect to see more players in action against the Cavs. The only big concern was Danny Granger leaving early again with a strained calf. Granger looked great knocking down shots as part of the starting unit before leaving early. Vogel downplayed the significance after the game and hopefully he'll be ready to go tonight. Plenty of good links with stories from the UC this morning.
