The Indiana Pacers are back in action on Wednesday night when they host the Dallas Mavericks at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Well...most of the Pacers are back in action. A bout of illness expects to keep Paul George off the floor for the Pacers, while some good ol' fashioned veteran rest will have Roy Hibbert and David West watching from the bench, according to reports.
Danny Granger will continue his heavy preseason workload, this time from the starting lineup as he will likely join Ian Mahinmin and Luis Scola as replacement starters for the other three Pacers slated to miss the game. After arriving at the Fieldhouse, it appears George Hill may not start, as well with C.J. Watson listed as the probable starter on the game notes.
As for the Mavs, they too have an interesting blend of veteran talent working to come together before the regular season tips off with the addition of Monta Ellis joining Vince Carter and Dirk Nowitzki as a potent trio of offensive weapons.
