The Pacers will try to finish their roadie on a high note which will require re-establishing their dominant defensive disposition. No easy task against the Nuggets, though.
Denver already gave the Pacers a rare home L earlier in the season and George Karl's crew continues to play well after struggling to start the season. Denver has won 10 of their last 12 games. Plus, the Nuggets are that much tougher at home matching the Pacers home success with a 16-3 record so far when playing in the mile high air.
Andre Miller came off the bench to take over that game at the Fieldhouse and delivered Denver a win down the stretch. Miller leads a second unit that has an advantage over the Pacers with Corey Brewer adding an active defensive-minded player and wild card JaVale McGee bringing athleticism to make a big impact in small doses. That is if the 'good JaVale' shows up. McGee flashed the good, bad and ugly that he can bring to the court in Indy but was definitely a net positive for Denver.
