The Indiana Pacers will be visitors in their own state when they play a preseason game on October 26th against the Chicago Bulls at Notre Dame in South Bend. Former Irish guard and current Bulls' executive John Paxon worked things out with his alma mater to have the Bulls finish their preseason schedule against the Pacers at the newly renovated Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center.

Yes, this is a Bulls home game and I'm fully aware that much of Northern Indiana, especially west of South Bend to Chicago, roots for the Bulls over the Pacers. But this seems like a great opportunity to show the Pacers some love and show up big at Notre Dame. I'm quite confident that Area 55 and friends will be scheming to bring some blue and gold to the stands and make their presence felt.

Never too early to plan, so here is the info on tickets.

Tickets for the game will go on sale at Notre Dame's Murnane Family Athletics Ticket Office at 8:30 a.m. (ET) on Tuesday, Sept. 11 and can also be purchased at www.und.com/tickets or by calling (574) 631-7356.
