Indiana Pacers associate head coach Brian Shaw was in Charlotte earlier this week to interview for the Bobcats open head coaching position, but according to a couple of Tweets from Orlando Magic reporter Brian Schmitz, Shaw left Carolina without a solid offer.
Schmitz opines that Shaw is more interested in the job with Orlando and the feeling may be mutual. According to a source, the Magic may be pinning their hopes for keeping Dwight Howard in a Magic uniform on Shaw working with the All-Star center.
Brian Shaw reportedly did not receive offer from Bobcats or maybe it was other way around. Shaw's waiting on the Magic.

League source: "Brian Shaw is the one guy, who as coach, as a former player, can get to Dwight Howard."

No pressure, coach. Before unpacking your things, could you find a way to sway Dwight Howard to stay and save the franchise for the next five year?
Regardless of what path Howard chooses, Shaw would be solid hire for the Magic.
