2012 NBA Playoffs: Pacers Get You Ready For Heat Series

Now that the Indiana Pacers know they will be playing the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference semifinals, the organization wants you to spend your Thursday prepping for the playoff series to begin some time during the upcoming weekend.

First, you have to start thinking about tickets to the Games 3 and 4 so you can register for priority access at Pacers.comto make sure you have first crack at the tickets when they go on sale. According to the site, by registering before the deadline of noon on May 10, fans can purchase available tickets for the Second Round at a savings over the General Public price.

So after you lock up you tix for the next games, head on down to Greenwood for a Blue and Gold pep rally. Here are the details:

The rally, which will be held at the Kroger at 3100 Meridian Park Drive in Greenwood, will run from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and feature fan giveaways and surprises, appearances by Pacers legends George McGinnis, Don Buse and Rik Smits, Pacers mascot Boomer, and the Pacemates. Cheer cards will be distributed and the Pacers Fan Van and Prize Wheel will be on site for the enjoyment of all fans. Local band Dave & Rae will be on hand for entertainment.
