Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert is taking his talents to television once again, but this time he won't be deadpanning for laughs on Parks and Recreation (Sup, Jello Shot?). Hibbert will tap into his professional experience to offer analysis for NBA TV's Game Time pre-game show as the big fella makes his first appearance at Turner Studios in Atlanta.
Hibbert will join host Rick Kamla and analyst Steve Smith at 7:00 p.m. ET as they prep NBA fans for Game 3 in the Eastern Conference Finals between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics. I'm assuming Hibbert will have some form of dark-rimmed eyewear to complete is look for the cameras.
It should also be interesting to see if Hibbert lets down his guard at any point and offers some comments on his status as a restricted free agent. I'm sure David Falk has him programmed to stay away from the contract fray but when he gets comfortable on the set, you never know. Regardless, Hibbert remains a positive representative for the Pacers so the more pub the better.
