The Indiana Pacers apparently have no problem poking a stick into the ribs of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat to make sure they they their full attention.

Along with Frank Vogel labeling the Heat as floppers Danny Granger expressed his thoughts on the matchup and wasn't willing to accept the underdog role in the series. With two off days remaining before the series tips off, I'm sure there will be a round of reaction quotes from the Heat today along with more follow ups from the Pacers.

I like what Vogel is doing to try to set a tone for the officiating in the series and Granger was doing nothing more than speaking the truth as he sees it, that he plans to win. Like his "winnable" comments about the Knicks earlier in the season, they are harmless on the surface.

My only concern is that the Pacers have a pretty horrid track record of backing up any talking they do. They are much better letting their game do the talking. So this should be interesting considering in this series with magnified media coverage and plenty of idle time, the players will be compelled to talk. Now the Pacers have to handle their business on and off the court.

Also, Game 2 will be played on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. ET and be televised on TNT.
