The Pacers are coming off of a tough loss to the Boston Celtics on Saturday night which turned into a fatigue-fueled clankfest with little redeeming value. The Pacers should be in much better shape to attack the Raptors with plenty of incentive to return to a high level of play as the Pacers try to hold on to third place in the Eastern Conference.
The Raptors arrive after struggling to score in their Sunday evening loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Andrea Bargnani tweaked a lingering calf injury which limited his minutes on Sunday for the Raptors, leaving him day-to-day for the tip tonight.
The Pacers should have a decent scouting report for the Raptors with Leandro Barbosa playing his first game against his former team since a trade deadline deal a few weeks ago. Fortunately, the tight-lipped second round pick the Pacers sent to Toronto in the deal won't divulge trade secrets for the blue and gold.
The Pacers will be without starting point guard Darren Collison due to a strained groin for the first time this season. George Hill will get the start in his place.
