The Indiana Pacers continued their strong run through the end of the regular season, wrapping up the road portion of the schedule with a win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Pacers final record on the road is 19-14 while the overall tally moved to 40-22. Nice. The Pacers are 18 games over .500 for the first time since April of 2004, so for those looking for a stark symbol of the franchise finally coming back from the brawl, that was indeed the season prior to the brawl.
Once again, the Pacers were strong down the stretch against Philly, and as Mike Wells points out, all five starters scored in the final three minutes of the tight game. So now the Pacers magic number for clinching home court advantage is two and only one over Boston to hold onto the third seed since the C's were taken down by a three-point barrage from the New York Knicks last night.
