The Indiana Pacers are back in action on Friday night when they host the Phoenix Suns.
The Pacers should be feeling pretty good after avoiding a mess in D.C. last night and bringing home a victory despite a host of "teachable" moments the coaching staff can raise with the team.
The Suns had been playing quite well in March, starting the month with a 9-2 record before losing back-to-back games in Miami and Orlando (hmm, sounds familiar). Their improved play of late and veteran laden lineup led by Steve Nash and Grant Hill always make the Suns dangerous. I realize that Grant Hill essentially missed the middle of his career with injuries but still, this is his 17th season filling the lane in the NBA. Paul George was four years old when Hill started playing in the NBA! Despite the overtime loss, the Suns' visit to the Fieldhouse last season was highly entertaining and I'd expect much the same tonight.
Here is the Pacers.com preview. For a Phoenix perspective, check out Bright Side of the Sun. Also, after the game check out Pacers Overtime on WIBC 93.1FM with Eddie White. Need to have an Indy Cornrows mention on the show!
