The Indiana Pacers host the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night with both teams searching to build some positive momentum with a win.
A look at the Blazers lineup makes me wonder what the problems have been for the Blazers of late since they seem to have the right pieces in place and I love coach Nate McMillan. This will be one of very few games where the Pacers don't have a size advantage around the rim. Also, Nicolas Batum can match length and athleticism with Paul George all night at shooting guard so that negates the advantage PG often has on opponents.
Looks like we're left with effort and execution to decide this one which is how it always should be. I'm sure both coaches would agree and desperately hope their respective rosters can get it done tonight.
Here is the Pacers.com preview. For a Portland perspective, check out Blazers Edge. Also, after the game check out Pacers Overtime on WIBC 93.1FM with Eddie White. Need to have an Indy Cornrows mention on the show!
