The Indiana Pacers are in Dallas prepping to take on the Mavericks tonight as they try to secure another valuable road win.
The defending champs are 14-9 as they struggle to keep their experienced legs healthy with the loaded schedule. Plus, they're all a little salty after losing at home on Wednesday to Western Conference leader, Oklahoma City. So while the Pacers are quite excited to be in fourth place in the East, the Mavs are disgruntled sitting in fifth place in the West.
Success breeds different expectation.
Speaking of success, True Hoop has an interesting post today about the business side of the NBA emerging from the lockout as strong as ever. The play on the court may not be fabulous, or at least consistently fabulous, but people are definitely paying attention.
