The Indiana Pacers face a manhood game tonight with the Miami Heat visiting Bankers Life Fieldhouse on a roll.
Normally, the fact that Miami is playing their third game in three days while the Pacers are coming off of a couple of days of rest would be a huge bonus for the Pacers. Instead, the Heat were so impressive in their last two wins they didn't need to expend major amounts of energy in the process, so physical fatigue may not be a factor at all unless the Pacers force LeBron James and Dwyane Wade to work extremely hard for 48 minutes.
That will certainly be the goal of the Pacers as they try to find the defensive edge they played with to start the season. There is no room for any players to float through this one or have an off game, so from Roy Hibbert through Dahntay Jones, the Pacers have to be on point and ready to go from the opening tip. Should be fun. Let's hope it is.
