The Indiana Pacers return to action on Friday night when they play the Denver Nuggets at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The Pacers have won four of five game and two in a row as Paul George has recently raised his level of play to help David West and George Hill at winning time. The Pacers will likely need their inconsistent bench to give a good effort to help keep the Nuggets in check for 48 minutes.
Denver has all of the pieces needed to succeed but they've staggered a bit out of the gate. With good point guard depth, active and defensive minded wing depth and long athletic front court players, the Nuggets present plenty of matchup issues for any team.
Point guard Ty Lawson has struggled with turnovers while trying to direct the Nuggets this season. Lawson is coming off of a strong game in Atlanta when he scored 32 points and dished out seven assists. But the Nuggets let a late lead slip away against the Hawks which helps tell the tale of their season thus far. That 9-10 record for Denver surely doesn't make this an easy home win for the Pacers.
