Roy Hibbert's left quad had an unfortunate meeting with Greg Monroe's knee, and the big fella went to the floor quickly. Hibbert was able to limp off the floor, and replays showed it didn't seem to be much more than a minor setback, but Hibbert did head into the locker room quickly. The Indiana Pacers meanwhile are caught in a close game against the Detroit Pistons, leading 42-38 at halftime.
The Pacers used a 15-0 run to jump out to a double digit lead in the first quarter, but Detroit responded with a quick run of their own to make it a tight game throughout the first half. Paul George led the Pacers early, and George Hill scored the final four points of the half at the line to break the tie. George leads the Pacers with nine as Hill pitched in eight. Gerald Green had six off of two three pointers.
UPDATE:
According to Krissy Myers, Roy Hibbert has a bruised left thigh and is questionable to return.
