The Indiana Pacers play the second game of a backto-back on Saturday night when they travel to the Palace at Auburn Hills to play the Detroit Pistons.
The Pistons also traveled to Auburn Hills for the game following a double-overtime loss against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night. The Pistons are 1-4 in their last five games but none of those four losses were by more than 10 points and all to respectable teams (Chicago, Philadelphia, Denver and Brooklyn). So the Pacers will have to be ready for a 48 minute battle for the win.
Roy Hibbert will try to back up a solid 19 and 13 effort on Friday against fellow Hoya Greg Monroe. Monroe has been a rock solid presence in the middle for Detroit, leading the team with 15 points and more than nine rebounds per game.
The Pacers are currently in 8th place in the Eastern Conference after beating Philly on Friday. The muddled middle of the East has the Pacers within a game of Boston, Chicago and Milwaukee.
